Boot Care and Repair

Boots made of leather are tough, but must be handled right to keep their shape. Think of leather as skin and treat it carefully.

Boots wet from rain, puddles, or perspiration must be dried slowly and with modest heat. Direct sunlight and artificial heat may damage the leather.  Dry boots stuffed with newspaper to hold the shape. Dry at room temperature.

Shoe (boot) polish, usually a wax implants a water and scuff resistant finish to the leather...
